About
Donna McCoy is a mediator, registered nurse, and founder of McCoy Consulting Services.
She holds master’s degrees in nursing (University of Alabama in Birmingham) and conflict management (Sullivan University). Donna has delivered numerous workshops and presentations on nursing management, gerontological nursing, cardiovascular nursing, and conflict management.
She is certified by the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts to mediate civil and family issues within the Kentucky court system and is a consultant for the Institute for Workplace Transition. Additionally, she has received advanced training in Elder/Adult Family mediation through Elder Decisions in Norwood, MA.
She is a member of the the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Louisville Area Gerontological Nurses Association, the Louisville Bar Association, and the National Alliance for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. This unique blend of expertise in healthcare delivery and confict management allows McCoy Consulting Services, PLLC the opportunity to assist individuals, families, healthcare facilities and attorneys in various methods of conflict management and resolution.
